The rivalry between Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud gets ramped up again this week. Their ongoing feud has been one of the highlights of TNA since the turn of the year, but this week’s hair vs hair match will undoubtedly be the standout moment of their run.

For the winner, it will be an opportunity to shame their rival by shaving his head in the centre of the IMPACT wrestling ring. For the loser, it’s simply going to be embarrassing, while they’ll also come away with a lasting memory of their defeat!
It will be a tough task for British underdog Spud, the former accomplice of Carter, who has launched a number of unsuccessful attempts to get one over on his former mentor since turning face in October of last year.
Carter, 31, is unbeaten since debuting for the company at the Bound for Glory pay-per-view back in October 2013, meaning Spud will have to break a near 18-month unbeaten streak to claim victory.
EC3, the nephew of company president Dixie Carter, has not been pinned or submitted thus far, despite matches against former World Champions Kurt Angle, Sting and Bully Ray. He’s become renowned for his underhand tactics, and has his beast-like bodyguard Tyrus to fall back on.
However, Spud has friends too. Another former World Champion, Mr. Anderson, has lent his support in recent weeks, while British Boot Camp 2 winner Mark Andrews is another known ally. Even ring announcer and presenter Jeremy Borash has been known to get involved on Spud’s behalf.
The match, which was filmed at Wembley Arena in London, will be aired Friday on Destination America, and you can watch it in the UK on Sunday on Challenge TV. This will be one NOT to miss!
