After he was asked who is the better quarterback between Brady and Joe Montana, Haley unleashed on Brady.
“Joe didn’t have to cheat. I’ve lost all respect for Brady. When your integrity is challenged in the game of football, to me, all his Super Bowls are tainted,” Haley harshly said to FOX Sports.
Brady just won his fourth Super Bowl ring in his 15-year career with the Patriots, but he and head coach Bill Belichick have endured many character assassinations due to Spygate and most recently, Deflate-Gate.
Haley went on to say that it’s sad that the Patriots’ rings have to be tainted, but he did not hold back or backtrack his comments after letting loose on Brady.
It will be difficult for Haley to ultimately prove that the Patriots’ rings are tainted though, as Brady has put together a Hall of Fame-caliber career and made the Patriots one of the most successful franchises in NFL history.
