Texans superstar defender J. J. Watt could very well steal the show when the HBO cameras show up in Houston.

According to reports, the Houston Texans will appear on the HBO hit series “Hard Knocks” – an in-depth look at the team’s 2015 training camp.
ESPN NFL Nation reporter Tania Ganguli reported that the Texans had been selected to be the featured team on the show, which has been a regular fixture on HBO since the 2007 season after a five-year break from it’s debut in 2001-2002.
The #Texans have been selected for Hard Knocks, per multiple sources.

In 2014 the Texans hired Bill O’Brien, the former QBs coach of Tom Brady in New England and the head coach of Penn State in the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky scandal, who promptly came in and worked magic on the struggling franchise. The Texans underwent one of the best turnarounds in the NFL in 2014 going 9-7 after finished the 2013 season with an NFL-worst 2-14 record. Among the players and coached who could become stars for the show are reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year J. J. Watt, starting RB Arian Foster, starting C Ben Jones and assistant coach Mike Vrabel – according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.
I think Bill O’Brien, Mike Vrabel, JJ Watt and Arian Foster will be Hard Knocks stars. I think C Ben Jones will emerge as unsung star.

Among some of the possible storylines for the 2015 season will be:
1. The QB competition between Brian Hoyer, Ryan Mallett and Tom Savage – all who started games in 2014.
2. Life without former All-Pro WR Andre Johnson, who left the team to sign with the division rival Indianapolis Colts
3. The return of former No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney from a season-ending injury in his rookie season
