Harry Kane continued his remarkable goalscoring record in Premier League London derbies to help Tottenham Hotspur into a 2-0 half-time lead over West Ham United at White Hart Lane.
The England striker bagged his 11th goal in 14 all-capital affairs, turning away from Arsenal loanee Carl Jenkinson to finish a smart Spurs move with a thumping shot into the roof of the net on 23 minutes.

The 22-year-old has well and truly put his early-season barren run behind him. He now has seven goals in his last five Tottenham games, including a strike against the Gunners before the international break.
Kane should have actually added to that tally prior to the interval when he was sent clear by Dele Alli, but he made a complete mess of a one-on-one with Adrian by screwing horribly wide on his left foot.
Fortunately for Mauricio Pochettino, his side had already established a two-goal cushion. Toby Alderweireld lost Winston Reid from a 33rd-minute corner and headed home at the near post.
Victory today would take Spurs three points clear of the Hammers – only goal difference separated them in the table prior to kickoff – and to within two points of fierce rivals Arsenal in fourth place.
