2. Kenny Hill, QB, Texas A&M
The quarterback who prefers to be known as “Kenny Trill” instead of “Kenny Football” had another spectacular performance that matched up with Johnny Manziel. Hill led the Aggies to a 31-3 halftime lead and was pulled before the second quarter ended. He was still able to throw for 283 yards and four touchdowns before Kyle Allen stepped in, and the Aggies steamrolled Lamar, 73-3. Hill is already looking like a lock to be a Heisman finalist, but he may follow in Manziel’s footsteps as a winner if he can maintain his production. However, there is one player who has established himself as the clear frontrunner so far.
Stats: 794 passing yards, 7 touchdowns, 0 interceptions; 9 carries, 11 yards, 0 touchdowns
