2. Kenny Hill, QB, Texas A&M
Hill fell somewhat back down to Earth in Texas A&M’s 58-6 victory against SMU, but the Aggies are still undefeated, and Hill still posted great numbers. He completed 16-of-22 of his passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns, but he threw his first interception of the year. His numbers are still impressive though since he was pulled after halftime, and the redshirt freshman also rushed for 57 yards on two carries. Hill’s accuracy was also high as he completed 72 percent of his passes.
Although this will not be enough to catch Marcus Mariota yet, Hill is continuing to cement his spot at the Heisman ceremony in New York.
Stats: 1,359 passing yards, 13 touchdown passes, 1 interception, 69.8 completion percentage; 16 carries, 106 rushing yards, 0 touchdowns
