3. Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia
After having a pedestrian game against Troy, Gurley rushed for a whopping 208 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries, and he added another 30 yards in the passing game. Despite only having 69 carries this season, Gurley has rushed for 610 yards for a humungous 8.8 yards per carry.
Although Georgia has already experienced a loss to South Carolina, the Bulldogs are still high in the rankings and expected to remain one of the top teams in college football. As long as they do that and Gurley continues to be the focal point of the offense, he is well on his way to being a Heisman finalist.
Stats: 69 carries, 610 rushing yards, 6 touchdowns; 9 receptions, 29 receiving yards, 0 touchdowns
