2. Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon
Mariota led the Ducks to a bounceback win over UCLA as they won, 42-30. Although the Oregon quarterback did not have his best performance, he still has yet to throw an interception this season. He still had a solid performance against the Bruins with 210 passing yards and two touchdowns while adding 75 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
The Ducks have already lost a game, but Mariota has been the primary reason for their offense continuing to put points on the board, and they are still in contention for the national title. His accuracy has been off the charts as well. However, there is one candidate who stands in his way.
Stats: 1,621 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, 69.7 completion percentage; 49 carries, 290 rushing yards, 5 touchdowns
