Sought-after AS Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia has reportedly agreed to join Inter Milan in a £22m transfer.
The 22-year-old had been heavily linked with Arsenal and also Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks, but ended up having to choose between Milan’s best rather than the North London rivals.
AC Milan were expected to secure the services of the French powerhouse until Inter gatecrashed negotiations in Monte Carlo on Friday and persuaded him to pick them.

Sky Sports understands that Kondogbia will undergo a medical on Monday ahead of signing a five-year contract with Roberto Mancini’s side, who finished a lowly eighth in Serie A last term.
The former Sevilla man was one of Monaco’s key players last season as they finished third in Ligue 1 and reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League, scoring against Arsenal in the first knockout round.
And the Gunners may now regret not acting quicker in the race to sign one of Europe’s best young midfielders.
