Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy sustained a concussion in the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks, and he was taken out of the game.
Luckily for the Packers, they received a 10-day rest period since their game against the Seahawks was on a Thursday. This has given the Packers an opportunity to give Lacy time to heal from his concussion, and they are optimistic that he can play against the New York Jets.
Lacy reportedly returned to the Packers’ Thursday practice and participated in full pads. This caused head coach Mike McCarthy and the doctors to clear him to play.
Here is a tweet from the Green Bay Packers’ official Twitter account announcing the bruising running back’s return to full health.
