Center Dwight Howard has been ruled probable for Game 3, which will be the Rockets’ first home game of the series.
He previously suffered a left knee sprain in Game 1, but he overcame a questionable status in Game 2 and scored 19 points while snagging 17 rebounds.
Howard had an extensive injury history in the 2014-15 season as he missed 41 regular-season games, mostly due to a right knee injury.
The Rockets have hung tough with the Warriors in their last two games despite losing both of them, and shooting guard James Harden has been on fire and scored 38 points in Game 2.
Howard has been a rebounding machine in the playoffs, as he leads all players with 14 rebounds per game.
He will look to continue his rebounding spree as the Rockets hope to neutralize Warriors point guard and MVP Stephen Curry, who has averaged 33.5 points per game in this series.
