The Houston Texans are entering their bye week with a 4-5 record, and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is seen as the main culprit for their struggles.
This is not far from the truth since their offense has been mediocre, ranking 17th in scoring despite having running back Arian Foster, who most fans would call elite. Having wide receivers Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins should help an offense thrive better too.
However, Fitzpatrick has posted pedestrian numbers, and the Texans are not expected to keep him long-term.
The Texans quarterback is not thinking about his future though, saying that he doesn’t live in a “hypothetical world.”
