Texans fans will rejoice in the return of former All-Pro RB Arian Foster. His 85.8 yards/game are 9th in NFL history.
On Wednesday the Texans will have former All-Pro players WR Andre Johnson and RB Arian Foster as well as 2009 Defensive Rookie of the Year LB Brian Cushing return to practice together for the first time in over a year.
Foster and Cushing both suffered season ending injuries in 2013 that caused the team to stumble to a league worst 2-14 record. Johnson, meanwhile, struggled with a decision to return to the team for the 2014 season and requested a trade, but was denied.
Andre Johnson is the Texans’ all-time leading receiver and has led the team in receiving yards in 10 of his 11 seasons with the team. He is a 7-time Pro Bowler and 3-time All-Pro selection.
Cushing was named to the Pro Bowl as a rookie in 2009, recording 4 sacks, 4 INTs (including one returned for a TD), a safety and over 100 tackles. He was 2nd-team All-Pro in 2011, but suffered two season ending knee injuries in 2012 and 2013.
Foster led the league in rushing in 2010 after joining the team as an undrafted rookie in 2009. He also led the league in TDs in both 2010 and 2012.
