Roy Evans (1994-98)
Following the departure of Souness in 1994, Evans managed to re-invigorate a team in a negative spiral to finish fourth, a significant achievement considering the level of disrepute the club was in at Evans’ arrival.
However he was never able to get higher than that and the team’s league position slowly moved lower down the table with each passing season.
