In attack United actually seem pretty well stocked, although finding a formula where Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie can play well together is a conundrum for van Gaal.
Similarly Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck won’t be happy to play as fourth choice and as a result at least one of them will probably be sold this summer.
With funds needed elsewhere we expect van Gaal to stick with what he’s got upfront.
