If United lose star gloveman David de Gea to Real Madrid, it is likely Louis van Gaal will attempt to sign Lloris, however Tottenham do not want to lose the 28-year-old.
According to Daily Star, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will not part ways with Lloris for anything under £30m.
Lloris has starred for Tottenham since joining from Lyon for £10m in 2012 and still has four years remaining on his current deal with the London club.
United are believed to have offered de Gea a whopping £250k-a-week deal to remain at Old Trafford, but is yet to sign a new deal.
Real Madrid are reportedly waiting to pounce on the Spaniard, who has one year remaining on his deal with the Red Devils.
De Gea holds the bargaining power as United now run the risk of losing the 24-year-old for free at the end of the 2015/16 season.
