The Denmark international has been a shining light in an otherwise dismal season for Spurs and has been on great form recently, bagging four goals in three assists in the club’s last four matches.
Eriksen, 22, has stressed he is happy at Spurs and not looking to move in the summer, despite the almost-certain lack of Champions League football at White Hart Lane.
But the former Ajax star, who arrived in London for £11m last summer, has confessed that he has a ‘secret plan’ for the future, which will lead to speculation he could follow the likes of Luka Modric and Gareth Bale in leaving Spurs for mega-money soon.
He said: “I’m incredibly happy that they [Spurs] seem happy with me.
“I am very glad that they like what they see.
“Of course I have a dream and a secret plan in my head. But I keep it to myself. Right now I live in the moment and enjoy the success I have.”
