Depay leaves decision on future for another day.
Netherlands’ 20-year old winger Memphis Depay is very much aware of the high profile interest in his services from top Premier League sides Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
The PSV Eindhoven man is currently focused on the World Cup with his national team though, and wants to leave the decision on his future until after the tournament.
The talented winger, who has been dubbed the ‘new Ronaldo’, has impressed many a scout with his performances at the ongoing World Cup in Brazil and having netted two goals in thee games for Louis van Gaal’s team, it comes as no surprise that some of the top clubs are interested in his services.
Depay seems pretty keen to make a high profile switch to the Premier League despite being rather coy about his future prospects.
“Of course I’ve read that Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are interested.,” Depay was quoted by the Daily Star.
“But no more than that. I’ll see later. My agent Kees Ploegsma is here [in Brazil] too, but we are not talking about that kind of stuff. That is for after the World Cup.”
Depay is rated at around £20 million pounds by his current employers PSV, and Man United’s new boss Louis Van Gaal is being tipped to be the favourite to land him at Old Trafford, owing to his Dutch connection with the young prospect.
