When it comes to NBA All-Star Game fashions, sleeves are in and the traditional “tank top” jerseys are out.
The NBA unveiled the uniforms for the 63rd NBA All-Star Game next month in New Orleans and the outfits feature jerseys with short sleeves rather than the usual sleeveless versions most clubs wear every night.
NBA official outfitter adidas developed the new outfits for the Eastern and Western Conference elite lineups, these featuring festive Mardi Gras coloring of purple and green with brass and silver accents.
“This year’s All-Star collection reflects New Orleans’ festive musical history while also providing the premium performance elements that NBA athletes have grown accustomed to,” said Chris Grancio, the manufacturer’s global basketball sports marketing director.
Custom black, white and gray warm-up outfits will be worn by each player, all of them customized with career accomplishments for every individual, for the February 16 matchup.
