Arsenal midfielder posts photo with Chelsea colleague whilst heading on international duty.
The intense rhythm of club football relents briefly to allow players to attempt to qualify for next summer’s 2014 FIFA World Cup with their national teams.
Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong and his Chelsea counterpart Michael Essien will fly to Ghana together to help the Black Stars make it to Brazil, with the Gunners star posting a picture to social network Instagram of the pair.
Each will view the October 15th match against Egypt as an opportunity to play competitive football, with neither Frimpong nor Essien a permanent fixture in the starting XI under Arsene Wenger at Arsenal or Jose Mourinho at Chelsea respectively.
Ghana will travel to Egypt for the second leg of the tie on November 19th.
