Arsenal may have failed to sign a striker in the January transfer window, but the Gunners have received an injury boost with the return of French forward Yaya Sanogo.
Arsenal centre forward Yaya Sanogo has confirmed his return to training, and says he will be back for the Gunners soon.
The France Under-21s centre forward has struggled to find his fitness since he arrived at Emirates Stadium, but should be able to offer Arsene Wenger an alternate option in his forward line in the coming weeks.
With Olivier Giroud and Nicklas Bendtner the only options at present for the north London side, thanks to Park Chu Young being sent out on loan to Watford, Sanogo’s return cannot come soon enough.
The young Frenchman uploaded the below picture to social network Instagram, with the following caption:
“Training session yesterday at London Colney #backsoon”
