Gunners target shows off Copa Libertadores trophy after Atletico beat Olimpia on penalties.
What a way to go!
Premier League target Bernard is widely expected to have played his last match for Atletico Mineiro after helping the Brazilian club win the Copa Libertadores on Wednesday evening.
Bernard set-up Ateltico’s second goal, as the hosts beat Olimpia 2-0 on the night and eventually triumphed 4-3 on penalties after the match had finished 2-2 on aggregate.
The Brazil international playmaker is now set to leave Atletico, with Arsenal firm favourites to land the £24m-rated starlet despite interest from Tottenham and Liverpool.
In case you’re wondering, the Copa Libertadores is really big; but Bernard is also quite small.
