Stories emerged yesterday that Szczesny had suggested that he and new signing Ospina were not friends, hinting at a competitive rivalry between the two as they fight it out for the number one spot in goal.
However, Szczesny insists that his words were taken out of context by the media, though he proudly claimed that in the age of social media he was able to ‘kill’ the story straight away.
