The 73-year-old shared the image with his fans as he celebrated seeing his daughter, Laila Ali, become the first female analyst with NBC Premier Boxing Champions on Saturday night.
Ali was on hand at ringside to give viewers the latest from the corners of the main event which involved Keith Thurman and Robert Guerrero, as well as from Adrien Broner’s clash with John Molina on the undercard.
While she also joined host Al Michaels at one stage to give her opinion ahead of the fights, it was a breakthrough moment for her as she is set to become a permanent fixture of the series.
Meanwhile, Ali shared his pride and happiness with seeing his daughter involved in the event, and with it he also proved to his millions of followers that he is in good health after scares last year.
The former heavyweight champion of the world and the man widely regarded as the greatest of all time has suffered with Parkinson’s disease for many years, while he was also admitted to hospital back in December after suffering from pneumonia.
While he was released in time to celebrate his 73rd birthday with his family, it is clear that he is in good spirits and good health based on the image, but his last public appearance was back in September for the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards.
