Balotelli and Del Bosque also feature in playful World Cup cartoon.
Brazilian newspaper O Globo published a cartoon of star defender David Luiz waving goodbye to several World Cup departees on Saturday.
Former Chelsea man Luiz, who recently signed for Paris Saint-Germain, will play for Brazil against Chile when the knockout phase of the FIFA super tournament begins this evening.
However, the individuals that he was waving to, including Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, England’s Wayne Rooney, Italy’s Mario Balotelli and Spain boss Vicente del Bosque, are all heading home after their nations were eliminated in the group stage.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez also featured in the picture, which you can see below.
Suarez’s Uruguay side progressed to round two, but he will not be allowed to play, having been banned from football for four months for biting Giorgio Chiellini.
