Besart Berisha notched a hat-trick in a one-sided contest.
Brisbane Roar captain Matt Smith lifted the Craig Foster Cup following a 3-0 win over A-League rivals Melbourne Heart.
A 5,132-strong Oakes Oval crowd saw Roar striker Besart Berisha steal the show with an impressive hat-trick that saw him score after just 16 seconds, doubling his tally after the break with a powerful finish to beat former teammate and current Heart goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne.
Berisha completed his treble in the 83rd minute when he rose highest to head home a cross from Thomas Broich, who was earlier involved in a robust challenge with Orlando Engelaar carried off with a suspected broken leg.
