Chelsea defender David Luiz posted a birthday message for his Brazil centre-back partner Thiago Silva on his Instagram account.
The pair have formed a solid partnership for next year’s World Cup hosts, and both performed brilliantly during this summer’s Confederations Cup victory.
Silva turned 29 yesterday, and is widely regarded by many as the best centre-half on the planet at the moment. He won the Ligue 1 title with PSG last term, and will hope to do so again before he leads Brazil alongside David Luiz at next summer’s World Cup.
