Eto’o netted the opener in a 4-0 win over Tottenham.
Chelsea extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to seven points on Saturday with an impressive 4-0 victory over London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
After Fernando Torres was injured in the warm-up Samuel Eto’o was given a start upfront and the Cameroon international opened the scoring.
It was the striker’s 300th career goal and for Eto’o’s influence in the game the 32-year-old was awarded the Man of the Match award.
