Chelsea starlet warned of the perils of a short term career in football by fellow countryman.
Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku may have been around for quite some time in the Premier League, but is still just 20 years of age and has much of his career ahead of him.
With that being the case, it is perhaps unsurprising that upon being offered career advice from fellow Belgian footballer Faris Haroun.
The 28 year-old has recently signed a deal until the end of the season with Blackpool after being released by Middlesbrough in January, and his career reflects the perils and short termism of a life in football.
Lukaku’s goal record in the Premier League with both West Bromwich Albion and Everton suggests that he will have a long and fruitful career at the highest level, but the youngster certainly appreciated Haroun’s words of wisdom, posting the below to social network Instagram.
“Good to see you bro. Loved your advice about about life and football!” wrote Lukaku.
