Argentinian striker was dismissed in the crushing loss to Real Salt Lake.
Columbus Crew chairman Anthony Precourt had a few choice words for captain Federico Higuain after he was sent off against Real Salt Lake on Saturday.
The 28-year-old Argentinian striker was shown a red card late in the game, in which Crew suffered a 4-0 defeat, and attracted the ire of Precourt as it means he will be absent for the visit of Seattle Sounders on August 31.
