Warner’s solid knock of 45 helped guide Australia over the line against the disappointing Kiwi’s on Sunday, but he looked like a man full of pride as he posed next to the World Cup trophy alongside with Candice and Ivy Mae.
His six-month-old daughter seemed happy with Dad’s win, with her face beaming with a massive smile whilst she sat atop of the trophy.
Falzon uploaded the photo on Instagram, saying: “Winners are grinners!! Congrats @davidwarner31 and the Aussie boys on winning the World Cup. Outstanding effort. Love you”
Warner’s 45 helped Australia reach New Zealand’s modest total of 183, though he was clearly not happy with himself after falling short of a World Cup final half-century.
The 28-year-old was caught out by an excellent Matt Henry short ball and trudged off the ground in front of a 93,000-strong crowd at the MCG.
