The Carolina Panthers were forced to enter their Week 15 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers without starting quarterback Cam Newton.
Newton injured his back in a brutal car accident, so he was unable to play as a result. A certain fan used this moment to pay a “tribute” to the quarterback by putting on makeup that made him look beaten up.
He also put a rope around the back of his neck with a steering wheel attached to it. Although this fan’s team affiliation is unknown, this is sure to make many fans angry due to the insensitivity of his actions.
