Former Red Bull driver Mark Webber has urged Jenson Button to leave Formula One and join him in the World Endurance Championship.
With Fernando Alonso’s move to McLaren expected to be announced shortly, Button’s future at the British outfit has become uncertain.
Webber encouraged Button to leave Formula One after Button tweeted about his uncertain future.
“Matey just sign that sports car contract and get on with it,” Webber tweeted.
“Be mega to have you with/against us next year.”
