Arsenal ace is “the Frenchie that conquered English football,” according to magazine from his home country.
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is known as HFB – Handsome French Bloke – by a number of club blogs, and judging by this magazine cover from his home country, the moniker is well deserved.
The 27 year-old posted this image to social network Instagram of his feature, titled “The Frenchie who conquered English football.”
Giroud isn’t just a pretty face though.
The Gunners ace has the most assists in the Premier League, with both he and his club colleague Aaron Ramsey supplying four each, and is joint fourth in the goalscoring charts… alongside his club colleague Aaron Ramsey.
That all round game illustrates his development into an all round centre forward and focal point of the Arsenal attack.
Perhaps he has conquered English football after all.
