There were plenty of reasons for the Chiefs to celebrate during the 41-14 romp of the Patriots, but this world record was the icing on the cake.

One of the reasons Seattle is such a hard stadium to win at is the incredible noise, which in a 2010 playoff game was so loud it caused a small earthquake to occur. But on Monday Night Football, during a win over the favored New England Patriots, the Chiefs Arrowhead Stadium broke the Guinness World Record for loudest outdoor stadium with a decibel level of 142.2:

Despite its classic cookie-cutter design, Arrowhead Stadium is able to generate a surprising amount of noise analysts find. The Chiefs have a .570 career winning percentage at the stadium – one of the highest numbers in the league.
