Love, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving expected to make Cavs a big draw this year…
Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love is adjusting to life with his new team and city, and it promises to deliver him more attention than ever before.
Despite being a three-time All Star, the 25-year-old was arguably out of the spotlight with the Minnesota Timberwolves, particularly given their struggles to make the playoffs in a competitive and deep Western Conference.
However, after securing his switch to the Cavaliers, Love will be expected to play a significant role alongside the likes of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving to make the franchise one of the best in the league as well as an immediate championship contender.
His popularity in the city is already visible after a huge billboard was put up, however it remains to be seen whether or not the team will be able to deal with the increased expectations as the notion of “championship or bust” could well apply given the moves that they have made this off-season.
The Chicago Bulls will likely emerge as their biggest threat in the East after some impressive moves of their own this summer along with the potential return of Derrick Rose, but Cleveland are undoubtedly now in the spotlight moving forward.
@kevinlove Out my office window. You're already a star in Cleveland. You've got to love up to these expectations! pic.twitter.com/zsO3ljHR4p
