Sturridge bagged a cool penalty to finish off a lacklustre Montenegro side…
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge went out to celebrate at a restaurant after scoring a penalty for England on Friday evening.
Roy Hodgson’s side beat Montenegro 4-1, and the England striker was a menace throughout. He won a last minute penalty after some neat skill near the byline, and was allowed the chance to convert it by regular penalty taker Wayne Rooney.
The partnership between Rooney and Sturridge will be essential to England’s chances at next summer’s World Cup, if they can beat Poland on Tuesday and qualify automatically.
