Former Blues legend gets to grips with new kit.
It’s not a sight any Chelsea fan ever wanted to see, but the club’s all-time top goalscorer has been snapped in a Manchester City shirt for the first time.
The England star is undergoing a six-month loan spell at the club before he prepares to link up with new MLS franchise New York City FC next year when the club finally comes into formation.
Lampard will now attempt to help Manuel Pellegrini’s side retain their domestic title in a paler shade of blue, mush to the ire of Chelsea fans all over the world.
Having recently put pen-to-paper, he has joined a number of his new teammates in posing the new strip for the pre-season photo call.
