The squad came together to spend a day on the sand.
Melbourne Heart took a relaxed approach to their pre-season preparations on Monday with a surfing session at Byron Bay.
The Heart players swapped their football kits for swim shorts as they took to the water, surf boards in tow, with forward Dylan Macallister hinting that it soon turned into a competition dubbed the ‘Melbourne Heart 2013 Surfing Classic’, although the results remain a mystery.
With the club aiming to challenge at the A-League summit they will hope the waves at the Bay won’t be the only ones they ride during the 2013/14 campaign….if you catch my drift.
