Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil says he is ready for his final Premier League game of the season against Norwich City.
The pressure is essentially off for both teams, with the Gunners having already earned promotion and the Canaries practically relegated, with only a miraculous turnaround on goal difference able to save them.
Ozil has had an intriguing season on a personal level.
Having started brilliantly, his performances dipped in the new year after a first campaign of his career without a winter break, and was promptly accusing of “nicking a living” by the Daily Mail.
However, upon suffering a hamstring injury, Ozil’s absence was keenly felt by Arsenal, and his return immediately saw the team begin to play better.
Ozil can claim to have been a major part of that.
The Germany international posted the below picture to social network Instagram, with the following caption:
“I am looking forward for the last league match. #afc#gonners #premierleague #m1O”
