Senegalese hitman does himself no favours whatsoever…
Newcastle striker Papiss Cisse has been pictured gambling in a Tyneside Casino, despite his refusal to wear the club shirt due to its sponsor.
Cisse has insisted he will not promote ‘Wonga’, a payday loan company, due to religious reasons, but he was happy to gamble money in Aspers Casino.
This image will no doubt infuriate fans, and the hypocrisy of Cisse’s actions will not be lost on many. Casino employees have even claimed that the striker is a regular visitor to the gambling hotspot, according to The Mirror.
It seems that Joe Kinnear and Alan Pardew may have to hurry up their search for a new striker…
