Real Madrid goalkeeper uploads candid portrait of Arsenal defender on Spain international duty.
Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has had a difficult 2013.
In January, then manager Jose Mourinho dropped him in place of Diego Lopez, and whilst Casillas may have been confident of regaining his place under new boss Carlo Ancelotti, that hasn’t yet happened.
Still, Casillas has largely been present for the Spanish national team, even if FC Barcelona custodian Victor Valdes started against Belarus.
Someone in a similar position to Casillas in 2013 is Arsenal left back Nacho Monreal, who signed for the Gunners in January, but has been unable to hold down a place thanks to a resurgent Kieran Gibbs.
Perhaps Casillas has found a kindred spirit in Monreal then, and the Spain shot-stopper posted a photo to social network Instagram of the Arsenal man.
