Ri-Ri took her place courtside at the Oracle Arena on Thursday night as the Warriors took a 1-0 lead in the Finals over their rivals from the East.
Lacob started the game sandwiched between the R&B artist and his fiancee, but it was picked up by media outlets that he eventually swapped seats with the latter and was positioned away from Rihanna.
It has since been confirmed that he moved on purpose as she was rooting for the Cavs and LeBron James in particular, with the two-time NBA champion putting up 44 points in the losing effort as Golden State secured a 108-100 win.
It was later reported that Rihanna was seen, and heard, shouting “LeBron” several times by the Cavs locker room after the game, while Lacob moved to confirm that she had purchased her seats and they weren’t given to her by him.
Further, the Warriors owner added that he didn’t gloat after the win although it did cross his mind as LeBron’s No.1 fan seemingly got to him enough to ensure that he had to reconsider the seating plan.
