The Spanish publication has unquestionably fabricated Bale quotes…
Tottenham fans have reacted furiously after quotes Spanish publication Marca credited to their star player Gareth Bale have been proven as a lie.
Unbelievably, the quotes Gareth Bale reportedly said regarding his future are identical to the quotes Marca credited to Luka Modric last summer. Modric eventually joined the Spanish giants in a £30m deal.
Bale reportedly said last week:
“You made me a promise. You promised me if we didn’t qualify for the Champions League and a good offer turned up you’d listen to it. Well that offer has arrived and I want to play for Real Madrid. So keep your word and negotiate. I’m not interested in Manchester United or any other club. I only want to play for Real Madrid.”
Remarkably, Marca printed the following quotes last summer, in an article about Luka Modric’s Spurs’ future.
Modric reportedly said:
“You made me a promise. You promised me if we didn’t qualify for the Champions League and a good offer turned up you’d listen to it. Well that offer has arrived and I want to play for Real Madrid. So keep your word and negotiate. I’m not interested in Manchester United or any other club. I only want to play for Real Madrid.”
Notice the similarities?
Tottenham fans are extremely angry, and have expressed their anger over Twitter.
