The Croatian international put in another shaky performance over the weekend as the Reds slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United over the weekend, and was even at fault for Robin Van Persie’s final goal.
The error was the second time this season that the ex-Southampton man has made a mistake that has led to a goal, meaning that he’s already doubled his total for the entirety of last season in just 15 games.
Lovren is yet to find the kind of form that caused Brendan Rodgers to cough up the dough for his signature, and on current evidence he is still a long way off doing so.
