Sky Blues debut tweaked colour scheme on home and away shirts.

Sydney FC have launched their new Adidas kits for the 2013/14 A-League season with the home shirt returning to a lighter shade of blue.

Along with a comeback for the Sky Blues’ traditional colours the strip retains its navy blue pin stripe design and features a sunken navy blue neckline, while last seasons popular black away jersey is brought back with the addition of grey panelling to compliment the shorts.

In a stark contrast to the cool colour scheme of the outfield kit, Sydney’s goalkeepers will wear a striking red and orange strip, while being given the choice of sky blue and yellow alternate strips when there is a clash during the campaign.

CEO Tony Pignata was delighted with the offerings, telling Four Four Two: “The sense of history is retained with the sky blue home strip, last season’s black away strip has been slightly altered while there is a return to the foundation colour orange as part of the primary goalkeeper strip.”
