Uruguayan fans know how to do it properly…
Club Nacional’s fans unveiled a new world-record football flag last weekend in their friendly against Atletico Madrid.
The flag, 600m long and 50m high is the largest ever seen at a football match, and covered virtually the entirety of the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo.
Unfortunately, the Uruguayans lost 2-0, but the fans still had their world-record to go home with!
