Dave Chappelle was right: Prince DOES play basketball!
A recently discovered photo of legendary singer Prince from high school confirmed the long contested rumor that he did, in fact, play basketball when he was younger.

On Tuesday the Washington Post revealed a picture of the Grammy and Academy Award-winning singer from when he played basketball for Bryant Junior High – and the image is certainly a sight to see:

On the famous Comedy Central show Chappelle’s Show, comedian Dave Chappelle dressed up as the Purple Rain singer and challenged actor Charlie Murphy to a game of basketball – promptly and easily beating Murphy’s team of seemingly superior athletes. The sketch became one of the most famous in the show’s history. And it turns out Chappelle and Murphy hit the nail right on the head.
