With great talent comes great ego – or something of the sort. There are some athletes that handle success with dignity and grace like Derek Jeter, Michael Jordan, and Jose Mourinho. And then there are the the Muhammad Ali’s and Brett Favre’s of the world – guys who let their success go to their heads to the point that it comes to define who they are as much if not more than their actual accomplishments.
Ego is a dangerous thing because it makes people say and do things that make them appear to be above the average person, when all they really are are entertainers with an excellent figure. A few moments of hilarity or arrogance can cost some of these men their reputations or more importantly to them, perhaps, some serious cash down the line.
