8) Amir Khan
Any professional boxer who has the audacity to consistently call out the likes of Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao even though he’s never beaten a significant Welterweight boxer has got to have an ego the size a Khan’s fists. Even before the Mayweather/Pacquiao superfight Khan demanded that he be given the chance to fight one of the two boxing legends – and after the fight was announced he still insisted that he be given the chance to fight “the winner”.
Khan has an extremely over-inflated opinion of himself, as he has yet to even face the likes of Welterweight sensations Timothy Bradley or Kell Brook, and owns a pair of losses to Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia (who knocked him out in the 4th round) and a 1st-round knockout from lightweight star Breidis Prescott.
Khan can run his mouth all he wants about how he “deserves” to be one of the final challengers, but Mayweather and Pacquiao likely have bigger fish to fry than Khan before they hang up the gloves.
